
Forklift Operator
ROLE SUMMARY:
The Forklift Operator is responsible for operating a sit-down forklift along with general warehouse duties including loading and unloading trucks. This individual must have a strong focus on safety and an awareness of his/her surroundings. They must be able to follow directions and work well with employees/clients, staff, and customers.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FORKLIFT OPERATOR CAN LOOK LIKE:

Positioning forks, lifting platform or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials

Unloading and stacking material by raising and lowering lifting device.

Loading or unloading materials onto or off of pallets skids or lifting device.

Inspecting product load for accuracy and safely moving it around the warehouse or facility to ensure timely and complete delivery.

Performing a variety of routine tasks to assist in production activities.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

An accredited high school diploma or general equivalency diploma(GED)

Experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing environment

Customer-service mindset
-
Desire to learn and grow with a great organization
