
Line Lead
The Line Lead is responsible with assisting the Production Supervisor in the set up and operation of one or more production lines by directing, training and motivating employees on the line to achieve optimal performance of their assigned tasks; helping to solve problems; meeting quality and production standards and maintaining a safe, clean and organized work area.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A LINE LEAD CAN LOOK LIKE:

Assisting with line set ups that best accommodates each employee based on standard line lay out while maintaining production efficiencies.

Assisting in meeting quality standards set forth by the Bill of Material (BOM) Specifications administered by Quality Control Personnel.

Entering labor, production and quality data.

Training, coaching, encouraging and motivating employees to efficiently perform their assigned tasks.

Reporting any employee behaviors, incidents and/or accidents to supervisor.

Documenting employee activities as required by Program Department.

Maintaining work area in a safe, clean and organized manner.

Acting on behalf of the Supervisor when directed or in his/her absence.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or G.E.D.

Basic to intermediate Microsoft Office skills required.

1-2 years lead position in industry preferred.

Prior experience with people with disabilities helpful.

Good verbal and written communication skills required.
