
Outside Sales Leader
The duties of the Outside Sales Leader will include designing strategic sales plans and assessing costs + competition. In addition to being an excellent communicator, our ideal candidate will also demonstrate exceptional negotiation and leadership skills. This individual will be responsible for meeting BCI’s annual new-client sales targets and margins.
Duties:

Generate and reach out to leads via networking, cold-calls/emails. Record activity within Salesforce

Identify appropriate prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage sales cycle to close new business for the Packaging program

Maintain a well-developed pipeline of prospects

Cultivate lasting relationships with new customers to grow customer loyalty and to understand their business needs + goals.

Assess costs, competition, and supply + demand to identify selling prices

Estimate sales volume and profit for all new-client production opportunities

Partner with the Operations, Production and Procurement teams to work on all estimates/opportunities

Complete all actions required to onboard new clients including credit review, payment terms and vendor systems setups

Design and implement strategic plans to reach new-clients sales targets. KPIs are Top Line Sales Revenue, GPM and close-rate.

Draft detailed and accurate new-clients sales reports to the Executive Team and to the company’s Board of Directors

Utilize Nulogy and Salesforce to maintain accurate records of all estimates/opportunities

Establish a sales process, establish SOPs and document training

Understand and stay up to date on manufacturing + packaging landscapes and industry trends

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a relevant field is preferred

A minimum of 5 years’ combined experience in similar roles

In-depth knowledge of sales/marketing techniques and best practices

Capacity to manage various projects and work to tight deadlines

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs with strong skills in Excel

Salesforce system knowledge/experience preferred

Excellent negotiation, leadership, written and verbal skills
