Since 2008, BCI has hosted an annual gala to celebrate our mission and those who help bring it to life. Now known as Derby After Dark, this exciting event blends the energy and tradition of the Kentucky Derby with an evening dedicated to recognizing those who create opportunities for people with disabilities to achieve their full potential.
In 2025, more than 500 guests gathered to support our cause, raising an incredible $320,000 to further BCI’s mission.
Join us for the next Derby After Dark on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Ameristar Casino in St. Charles. Experience the thrill of the Derby race, along with an unforgettable night of dinner, cocktails, live entertainment, dancing, and so much more!
During this special evening, we will also honor outstanding individuals and organizations with the Loving Hands Award, Employment Partner of the Year, and Packaging Customer of the Year.
